Locomotive antennas of the "LA" series are designed for communication systems on railway transport. Due to its design the antenna can also be used on other kinds of vehicles as well as on fixed sites. TETRA equipment operating in the 400-430 MHz band and data transmission systems may use these mobile antennas.
The new wideband LA-400-430 model covers the whole 400-430 MHz band with VSWR not worse than 1.5 without any additional tuning.
The "LA" models have a low profile design, their height does not exceed 80 mm, and they are protected by a strong ABS plastic radome. This provides better aerodynamics and additional electrical safety. The construction is DC grounded.
The antenna is mounted on the metal roof of the locomotive with M6 bolts, the cable goes through a hole in the roof.
IMPORTANT! The antenna parameters are guaranteed when it is mounted on a metal plane of at least 1x1 meter.
